Description
Little Berwick Cottage is a detached cottage dating from around the mid-18th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatch roof, with brick stacks at each gable. The cottage is one and a half storeys high and has three windows, which include two-light casements with glazing bars on the ground floor made of 20th-century metal, and wooden casements on the upper floor. There is also a three-light wooden casement window at the top left, complete with wooden cills and lintels. The cottage has three eyebrow dormers and a centrally located plank door framed in heavy wood, also from the 20th century, with a hipped thatch canopy above it. An outhouse is attached to the right end of the cottage, which is one storey high and has a lower thatch roof, featuring a plank door on the left side.
