Description

South Poorton Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There is a 20th-century brick stack located at the left-hand ridge and right-hand gable-coping. The cottage stands two storeys high and has two windows, which are three and two-light wooden casements with glazing bars that have been renewed. The front door includes one glass light and is also from the 20th century. A thatch porch canopy is supported by two wooden posts.
