Description
Blackney Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the mid-18th century. It features rubble-stone walls with stone and brick quoins and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are 20th-century brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The cottage has two storeys and typically has three to four windows, which are 20th-century wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills. The front door, located at the centre, is a plank stable door, and there is a porch with a thatched gabled roof, also from the 20th century.
