Description

Venn Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse built in the early 19th century. It features ashlar stone walls and a slate roof with stone gable copings. There are brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are 2-light wooden casements with glazing bars, although these have mostly been renewed. The front door is centrally located and has two glass panels, dating from the 19th century. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing with two windows, which are 2-light cast-iron casements with keyed stone lintels. Additionally, there is a pentice-roofed outshut at the rear, also covered with a slate roof.
