Description

Hayes Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse built in the early 19th century. It features dressed stone walls with plain corner pilasters and a hollow-moulded cornice. The roof is made of slate and has stone gable-copings, with two brick stacks located at the left and right gables. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are recessed sashes with thin glazing-bars, tall panes, and four panes wide, all with stone cills. The front door is centrally located and consists of a flush and recess-panel door, topped by a semi-circular fanlight with glazing-bars. There is a 20th-century concrete porch with a pitched slate roof. To the right, there is an attached range made from the same materials, also featuring a stone gable-coping, two storeys, and two windows of the same type with wooden cills.
