Description

Fourplace is an attached house and parish shop located on the north side of The Square in Broadwindsor, dating from the late 19th century. The building features rubble-stone walls with brick quoins and dressings, topped by a slate roof that has stacks at both the left and right-hand gables. It is two storeys tall and has three windows, which are tripartite vertical sashes with segmental heads. The front door is positioned just to the left of centre and is adorned with brick dressings from the 19th century. On the right side at ground level, there is a shop window that includes a square bay window with five lights, divided by wooden framing, and a wooden cornice board. This building is included for its group value.
