Description

The White Lion is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It features dressed stone walls and a slate roof with gable ends, along with brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are sashes with thin glazing bars, each with stone voussoirs above and stone cills below. The front door is centrally located and has flush and recessed panels from the 19th century, topped by a segmental fanlight that is also framed by dressed stone voussoirs.
