Description

The Lodge is an early 19th-century detached house. Constructed of ashlar stone, it has a slate roof with two parallel ridges and 20th-century brick stacks positioned at the right-hand front wall and at the left-hand eaves. The house follows a double-depth plan and has approximately four sash windows per floor, featuring glazing bars and stone voussoirs. The windows also have painted stone cills. A central front door is framed by a 20th-century reproduction door case and pediment, with panelled reveals. The door itself is six-panelled, exhibiting an egg-and-dart moulding to each panel, and is also a 20th-century replacement.
