Description
Hollis Hill Cottage is a detached house that was formerly a farmhouse, dating from the mid-17th century. The building features rubble-stone walls and has asbestos slate roofs with stone gable-coping on the left side. There are rendered stacks at both the left and right gables. The cottage is two storeys high and has four windows, which include mostly 19th and 20th-century three-light wooden casements, with an 18th-century window located above the front door. The south gable wall displays a two-light stone mullion window with a continuous string course above it. The front door, positioned to the right of centre, is made of wood with glass panels and dates from the 20th century, accompanied by a simple 20th-century porch.
