Description

Manor Cottage is a detached farmhouse, now functioning as a cottage, dating from the 17th century, with a possibly earlier core. The building features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand gable and the right-hand ridge. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has three windows, which are 2-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills, set beneath segmental stone arch voussoirs. Additionally, there is one 3-light dormer of the casement type. The front door is made of planks and muntins, studded, and dates from the 19th century, with a bracketed stone canopy above it.
