Description
This is an 18th-century apple barn, with 20th-century window replacement. The building is constructed of rubble-stone walls and has a thatched roof with stone gable-coping on the left-hand side. A brick stack is situated on the left-hand gable and along the right-hand ridge. The barn is 1½ storeys high, featuring two windows with 2-light and 3-light wooden casements, incorporating glazing-bars. Wooden cills are present, alongside 20th-century window shutters. An eyebrow dormer is also visible. A central front door is made of plank and muntin, studded with strap-hinges. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the High Street.
