Description

No. 72 High Street is an attached house dating from around 1800. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatch roof with stone gable copings and level kneelers. There are brick stacks at each gable end. The house is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars, flush wooden frames, and wooden cills. The stone arch voussoirs above the windows add to its character. The front door, which is from the 20th century, is located at the center and is made of wood with one glass light, topped by a bracketed wooden canopy.
