Description
The Three Horseshoes Inn is a detached public house located on the north side of Mill Side in Burton Bradstock. It dates back to the 17th century but has been significantly modernised. The building features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with block ridging. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand gable, the centre of the ridge, and the right-hand gable. The inn is two storeys high and has five windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills. The ground floor has concrete lintels, and there is a 20th-century canted bay window on the left side. The doors include a plank door with three glass lights on the left, both of which are from the 20th century. These doors are sheltered by thatch canopies supported by wooden brackets.
