Description

Home Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It features rubble stone walls and a slate roof with stone gable copings and level kneelers. There are 19th century brick stacks at the left-hand gable and the right-hand inner gable. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, wooden cills, and stone arch voussoirs. The front door is centrally located and consists of a fielded-panel and flush-panel door with two top lights, complemented by panelled reveals. It has a recessed architrave and a bracketed wooden canopy above. The right-hand end of the farmhouse extends beyond the stack and has no windows, featuring a half-hipped slate roof. There are also attached iron railings in front of the area.
