Description
Mangerton Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It features dressed stone walls and a slate roof with stone gable copings and level kneelers. There are brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The building has a double pile plan with parallel ridges and stands two storeys high. The facade includes three sash windows with thin glazing bars, each topped with stone arch voussoirs. The front door is centrally located, flush-panelled, and from the 19th century. There is a 20th-century reconstituted stone porch with a gabled slate roof above the door, which has two glass panels. In front of the farmhouse is an attached brick sleeper wall with stone coping and iron railings featuring oak-leaf and acorn finials. The wall rises to square stone gate piers capped with pyramidal stones.
