Description
Mangerton Mill, excluding the Mill House, is a water-driven flour mill dating from the early 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls, with brick on the right-hand end that includes two segmental arches. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos and has stone gable-coping at the right-hand end. The building is two storeys high and has approximately five bays, with two-light wooden casements on the left side. There are two plank doors, one on the ground floor and one above. The left segmental arch opening houses the overshot water-wheel, which drives the machinery located in the left part of the mill. The machinery is mostly intact.
