Description

Gore Cottage is a detached cottage located in a meadow, dating from the late 18th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with stone gable copings and level kneelers. There are brick stacks at both gable ends. The cottage has two storeys and three windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars, along with wooden cills and lintels. The central entrance has a plank door from the 20th century, and there is a wooden weatherboarded porch with a thatch canopy above. Additionally, there is a pentice-roofed outhouse on the south gable end, which has a slate roof and a plank door.
