Description

Leat Cottage is a detached cottage, likely dating back to the 18th century, although it may have an earlier core. The cottage is constructed of rubble-stone walls and has a thatched roof, half-hipped in form. A brick stack is situated on the ridge, towards the left centre of the roof. The cottage has one and a half storeys and features three windows, each with two-light wooden casements containing glazing bars. The window sills are wooden and have been renewed. A central front door is largely made of glass panels and dates to the 20th century. A half-octagonal porch with a flat roof, also from the 20th century, is positioned at the front, with a further door on the south side.
