Description
Church Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the early 19th century. It features dressed stone walls and a thatched roof with stone gable copings and level kneelers. There are 20th-century brick stacks on the left-hand outer gable and the inner right-hand gable. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills from the 20th century. Stone arch voussoirs are positioned above the windows. The front door is centrally located and is a plank door with a glass light, topped by a thatched porch canopy. The left-hand end of the cottage projects slightly and is lower, containing two windows. In front of the cottage is a 19th-century stone wall with coping stones. There are also two gate piers with pyramidal caps.
