Description
Folly Cottage is a detached cottage built in the mid-18th century. It features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, which has stone gable-coping on the left-hand gable and scroll kneelers. There is a brick stack on the left-hand gable. The cottage is two storeys high and has six irregularly placed windows, which are two-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing-bars, and full glazing-bars on the upper windows. The windows have wooden cills, and the openings are topped with keyed stone lintels and segmental stone arches. The entrance is located at the rear, in a 20th-century extension.
