Description
Manor Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It features coursed rubble-stone walls and a slate roof, with brick stacks at each gable end. The building has two storeys and three windows on the front, which are three-light, wood-framed and iron casements with original lead lights, including a four-light window at the top left. The ground floor windows have wood cills and stone voussoirs above them. The front door, located just to the right of centre, is from the 19th century and has recessed panels with two top lights. To the right is a mid-19th century addition, which has two storeys and two windows with cast-iron casements that include glazing bars; the left-hand ground window has three lights, while the others have two lights. There are stone steps at the gable end leading to a door above, which may have served as a dairy and cheese house.
