Description

Two attached cottages, dating from the early 19th century. The cottages have stone walls which are colour-washed. They have hipped slate roofs with a stone gable-coping on the right-hand side. A rendered stack is located at the left-hand eaves. The cottages are two storeys high, with two windows each. They retain original sash windows with glazing-bars and stone cills. A 19th-century flush-panelled front door, with a semi-circular fanlight, is positioned slightly right of centre. South Carey Cottage is attached to the rear and is constructed of the same materials and to the same height. A rendered stack is located on the rear wall with two sash windows, also retaining glazing-bars and stone cills. A 19th-century plank front door is located on the rear wall.
