Description

A row of five attached estate cottages dating from the early 19th century. The cottages are built of coursed, dressed stone with Roman tile and slate roofs. Brick stacks are located at the left-hand gable and four others are spaced along the ridge at the party walls. The cottages are two storeys high. The windows contain two-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing-bars, stone architraves, and wooden sills. The front doors, mainly positioned centrally to each cottage, are planked with a single light above six glass panes. Each door is sheltered by a small canopy supported on wooden brackets.
