Description
This is a row of five cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone laid in a watershot pattern, with quoins and a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high. Each has a three-light flat-faced mullioned window with projecting sills to the left of the doorways, which have tie-stone jambs. The first floor has four-light windows. The rear elevation mostly features two-light windows, many of which lack mullions. A coped gable with kneelers is present on the left-hand return wall. There are five stacks rising from the ridge of the roof.
