Description

A row of five cottages back-to-back, dating from the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof, featuring quoins. The first two cottages have three storeys each, with doorways containing sill ties and three-light mullioned windows with stepped details. These windows feature two wider lights, with fixed glazing on either side of a taller, narrower sash window. This arrangement is repeated on the first and second floors. The third cottage has two storeys, with a doorway featuring monolithic jambs and tall two-light sash windows on both floors. The rear elevation mirrors this appearance. There are three stacks on the ridge of the roof.
