Description

Bottoms is a row of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of six single-cell cottages. Each cottage has a doorway with tie-stone jambs located to the left of a 5-light flat-faced mullioned window, which has the same design above. The center light of the window is wider than the two lights on either side and was likely originally sashed with fixed lights flanking it. The glazing has been altered. The cottages also have quoins and six stacks along the ridge.
