Description

A row of five cottages dating from the early 19th century, situated on Cragg Road in Hebdon Royd. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. They are two storeys in height and each features a doorway with tie-stone jambs, alongside a five-light, flat-faced mullioned window on each floor. The arrangement and detailing are similar to those found at Bottoms. Quoins are visible on the corners of the cottages, as well as between numbers 3 and 4. Five ridge stacks are present. The ground floor windows of numbers 2 and 3 have had some mullions removed.
