Description
This is a row of six single-cell cottages, dating to the early 19th century, situated on the east side of Keighley Road in Hebden Bridge. The cottages are constructed of dressed stone and have a stone slate roof. They feature quoins. The buildings are two storeys high, with each cottage containing an entrance doorway with a sill tie and mullioned windows. The ground floor windows have three lights, while those on the first floor have four. The windows have slightly projecting sills. Gutter brackets are present. Six stacks rise from the ridge of the building. Each cottage is accessed by a short flight of stairs leading to a raised balcony; some have coal houses beneath them, facing the roadside.
