Description

This is a row of early 19th-century single-cell cottages located on Keighley Road in Hebden Bridge. The cottages are constructed of dressed stone with a stone slate roof. They are arranged over three storeys, with three bays each featuring doorways with sill ties and flat-faced mullioned windows. The ground floor windows have three lights, while those on the first floor have four. Nos. 18 and 20 are two storeys high and are accessed via a flight of steps, featuring a balcony in front and coal houses beneath, located at street level. No. 16 has a four-light window on the second floor. A return wall reveals a first-floor door entry to No. 14, which is positioned at the rear of a double-pile arrangement of the house.
