Description

This is a row of seven simple cottages located on Foster Lane in Hebdon Royd. They were built in the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. Each cottage is two storeys high and has a single room. The ground floor to the left of each doorway features a two-light mullioned window with tie-stone jambs. The first floor has a three-light window, likely with fixed outer lights and a sash window in the central position. Each cottage has a ridge stack. The corners are quoined.
