Description

A row of six cottages built in the early 19th century, located on Foster Lane in Hebden Bridge. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. They are two storeys high. Each cottage features a three-light flat-faced mullioned window to the left of the doorway, with tie-stone jambs. The first floor has four-light windows. The ground floor windows of numbers 14, 16 and 22 have been altered. Moulded gutter brackets are present. There are six stacks rising from the ridge of the roof. The gables incorporate simple Venetian windows in the apex.
