Description

Hurshay Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the 18th century. It features rubble stone walls with a projecting plinth on the left side and a slate roof with stone gable copings. There are brick stacks at the left and right gables, with the right one being renewed. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are renewed 2- and 3-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills, set under brick segmental and concrete lintels. The front door, located at the center, is of the stable-door type. The left-hand range is slightly lower and also has two storeys with approximately three windows of the same type. Inside, there is a plank-and-muntin oak screen and a sealed oak fireplace with a wooden lintel that has run-out stops.
