Description
Sunnybank is a detached former farmhouse that dates from the mid-17th century and was largely re-fashioned in the 19th century. The building features rubble-stone walls and a slate roof with gable ends. There is a 20th-century brick stack at the left-hand gable and a rendered stack on the ridge, positioned left of centre. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range. Two of the windows are four- and two-light stone mullions with hollow chamfers, complete with returned labels and stone cills. The remaining windows are two- and three-light wooden casements that have horizontal glazing bars and wooden cills, with segmental window heads. The front door, located to the left of centre, is a plank door with one glass light, dating from the 20th century.
