Description
Benville Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century, with renovations from the 20th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The cottage has two storeys and two 20th-century wooden casement windows with glazing bars, concrete lintels, and wooden sills. The front door, located at the centre, is a plank and muntin style from the 20th century. A hipped thatch porch canopy supported by two stout wooden posts is present. The front garden is enclosed by iron railings with arrow-heads and loops.
