Description

Little Benville is a detached house dated 1812, as indicated on the gable wall. The house is constructed of rubble-stone walls with a slate roof and stone gable-copings. Stone stacks with cornices are present at the left and right-hand gables. The house is two storeys high, with a three-window front. Each window is a 3-light design featuring hollow-chamfered stone mullions and separate labels above. The windows contain 20th-century metal casements with lead lights. A wooden door with two flush panels, dating to the 19th century, is located at the rear of the house, in an angle. A stone canopy, supported by two stone brackets, shelters the door.
