Description
Spring Cottage is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It features dressed stone walls resting on a rubble-stone base, topped with a slate roof that has gable ends. There is a single brick stack located at the center of the roof. The house is two storeys high and has a stone plat-band separating the two levels.
The front facade includes three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing-bars, and a smaller two-light casement positioned at the center of the first floor. The windows are adorned with arch voussoirs and projecting stone keys. The front door, located at the center, consists of six fielded panels and dates from around 1800.
