Description
Courtwood Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. It features dressed stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. The building has brick stacks at both gable ends, which were added in the 20th century. It is two storeys high and has three windows, which include both three-light and four-light stone mullions with hollow chamfers and separate labels. At the center of the façade, there is a brick porch topped with a hipped thatch roof, and the door has glass panels, also from the 20th century. To the right, there is a range of attached stables that match the farmhouse's stone walls and have a hipped corrugated asbestos roof. A stable door is located on the rear wall, topped with stone voussoirs.
