Description

Mount Cottage is a detached house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a Cotswold stone-slate roof with two stone gable stacks. The main part of the house has two storeys and an attic, while there is also a rear wing that has two storeys. The building includes two widely set gabled dormers and three windows arranged in a pattern of three, two, and three-light wooden leaded casements. On the ground floor, there are two three-light windows alongside a central boarded door, all of which are topped with extra long wooden lintels.
