Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with a west wing from that period and a south wing added in the 19th century, which serves as the main entrance. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a Cotswold stone-slate roof with coped gables, cross saddlestones, and ball finials. It has two large and impressive stone stacks, with six flues on the left and three on the right, all set diagonally and topped with moulded cornices. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and has three gables, each featuring a two-light stone-mullion window. There are three long stone-mullion windows on the ground floor, arranged in a 3/2/3-light pattern, flanking a central doorway that is also three lights wide. All windows are fitted with leaded lights and have square hoodmoulds. The central porch is made of ashlar and has a gabled roof, featuring a four-centred moulded arch doorway with panelled double doors and an inner half-glazed door. The older part of the house forms an L-shape on the left side and includes two gabled dormers, two three-light windows with timber lintels on the first floor, and one window to the right of the doorway. There is a renewed 20th-century window to the left of the doorway.
