Description

The Rectory Cottages are a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th or early 18th century. They are constructed of rubble stone with a Cotswold stone-slate roof and feature three chimney stacks. The cottages are arranged in an L-shape, with a large cross-gable wing to the left and a smaller gable to the right. They are single-storey with an attic. There are two windows visible on the left gable, including a two-light leaded window with plain stone mullions; these mullions have stop-chamfered details at the top and along the jambs on each floor. The right gable features a two-light timber leaded casement window on the first floor, and a three-light window below. A plain boarded doorway is located in a lean-to wing to the left.
