Description
Libra, Lothers, and Waynflete are three attached cottages dating from the early 18th century. They feature coursed rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. The cottages have four brick chimneys: one on the left gable, two on the ridge at the party walls, and one on the right gable. The buildings are two storeys tall, with the left end (Waynflete) rising to 2½ storeys.
There are five windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, although many have been renewed. The windows have wooden cills and lintels, with lead lights on the right side at ground level. The front doors include a centrally located flush-panelled door for Waynflete, featuring two top lights and a 20th-century wooden lintel above. To the left of center, Libra has a plank-and-muntin door, studded with ornamental strap hinges, also from the 20th century. Lothers, located at the center, has a wide plank door studded with a lozenge light, again from the 20th century.
