Description

Oak Cottage is a detached cottage dated 1755, as indicated by a tablet inscribed "K B 1755 I G B." The cottage is constructed of rubble stone walls with a thatched roof featuring gable ends. Brick stacks are situated at each gable. It is a two-story building with five two-light windows, fitted with 20th-century wooden casements containing glazing bars. Wooden sills and lintels are present. The central front door is planked with two glazed lights above and is a 20th-century addition. A 20th-century rubble-stone porch with a tiled gabled roof covers the front door.
