Description

No. 12 Main Street is a detached cottage dating from the late 18th century. It features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks at each gable end. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, which are 2-light wooden casements with glazing bars, although these have been renewed. Keyed stone lintels are present above the windows. The front door, which is glass-panelled and from the 20th century, is located to the left of centre and set back from the lane. At the rear, there are inserted casements with concrete lintels.
