Description

The Road Bridge over the River Asker is an 18th-century structure, with a date partially visible on the east parapet reading 17(7)?. It features dressed stone walls and flat chamfered coping-stones. The bridge has one semi-circular arch made of dressed stone voussoirs, with a projecting key at the center. The parapet walls slope back down the lane on each side of the bridge, forming the boundary of the road. The bridge is of single track width.
