No. 23 Main Street is an attached house that is part of a row of cottages, dated 1786, as indicated by a white stone tablet with a moulded surround. The building features dressed stone walls and a patent clay tile roof with cresting, along with concrete gable copings. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, dating from the 19th or early 20th century. The windows have wooden cills, and the ground floor windows are adorned with stone voussoirs, while the first-floor windows have wood lintels. The front door, located to the left of centre, is made of wood with recessed panels and dates from the 20th century.
