Description
No. 116 Wakeham is a house in a row, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from large squared and coursed stone blocks and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and features a single window on the front. There is a hipped eaves stack with a 20th-century casement above four-pane sashes that have flush surrounds. To the left of the windows, there is a two-panel door. The left side has a raised cemented verge, while a stone stack is located on the right, and the roof is adorned with clay crested ridge tiles. The masonry shows straight joints to each of the adjoining properties, but the long lintel blocks at the ground floor extend through.
