Description
Glebe Cottage is a detached cottage dated 1626, as indicated by a stone tablet above the front door. The building features rubble-stone walls with stone quoins and a thatched roof that has gable ends and stone gable-copings. There are 20th-century brick stacks at the gable ends. The cottage is 1 and a half storeys tall and has two windows. On the left side at ground level, there is a three-light stone mullion window with ovolos and a separate label above it. The windows have iron casements and lead lights, while the three-light and two-light wood casements with glazing bars are 20th-century replacements, featuring cambered stone voussoirs. The first-floor windows are gabled and have coped half-dormers. In the center, there is a plank door, also from the 20th century.
