Description

Church Gate Cottage is a detached cottage dating to circa 1700. It has rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof, with a gable end on the left-hand side and a hipped roof on the right. A brick stack is located on the left-hand gable. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high, with two to three windows. It has two-light wooden casements with glazing bars, and wooden cills. A 20th-century three-light metal casement is located on the right-hand side. The front door, positioned centrally, is planked and has a wooden lintel above it.
