Description
Hunter's Hatch is a former row of three cottages that has been converted into a single L-plan house, dating from the 17th century. The building features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof, which is hipped at the left-hand angle and gabled at the right. There are two brick stacks located at the left-hand eaves and at the ridge center. The house is two storeys high and has five windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, although one has been renewed. On the first floor, there is a window with two fixed lead lights and a central wooden casement that has 18th-century hinges. The building has wooden lintels and cills, and a curving side wall that runs along the stream. The entrance to the house is now located on the rear wall.
