Description

Chilmark Cottage is an attached cottage dating from the 19th century. It features dressed stone walls and a slate roof, with brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The cottage is two storeys tall, making it taller than the adjacent cottage. It has two windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars and stone voussoirs, but no cills. The front door is centrally located and is a plank door from the 19th century, sheltered by a wooden porch that has a pitched roof made of corrugated iron.
